
Dr. Gillian Morantz
Dr. Gillian Morantz, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at McGill University and a dedicated advocate for child health and protection, with a focus on vulnerable and newly arrived children. A leader in global pediatric initiatives, she has worked across Ghana, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Botswana, Kenya, and Haiti to advance healthcare access and education. At McGill, she co-directs the Global Child Health Program, fostering medical partnerships with low-resource regions, and co-leads the Social Pediatrics Program, training future clinicians to address the needs of marginalized children. As a founder and pediatrics advisor for Madiro, she further amplifies her commitment to equitable care. Dr. Morantz brings her expertise in child health, global collaboration, and social pediatrics to support UVL’s mission of inclusive well-being.
